Our Addison, TX client is seeking a Senior Division Order Analyst on a contract to hire basis. Competitive salary and excellent benefits offered once the candidate is hired directly.
Responsible for establishing and maintaining title ownership in oil and gas producing assets through examination of oil and gas leases, contracts, division order title options, conveyance and probate documents, and other supporting data to ensure accurate and timely payment.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and interpret title documents related to record title ownership, mineral ownership and leasehold rights
Determine ownership through laws of descent and distribution/intestate succession when appropriate
Coordinate with land personnel to obtain title opinions, survey plats, conservation orders, or other documentation required to address title curative issues
Be an effective and productive team member to assigned teams and as part of the Division Order department
Perform weekly status updates to Supervisor/s
Create and maintain pay status logs on each client and/or partners per division orders
Create and maintain pay status logs for each well and/or interest
Verify wells and operators/purchasers for each interest purchased
Mentor and educate less experienced Division Order Analysts
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements:
College degree preferred but not required
Minimum 5 years of DOA experience
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational skills
Punctual and reliable
Ability to work in a team and network
Work efficiently and self-guided in problem solving
