Our NW Houston, TX client is in need of a Senior Production Supervisor for a Direct Hire opportunity.
Position Summary:
Candidate will need to have a minimum of five years of experience at a leadership level in the manufacturing of gas compression and/ or process gas modular equipment.
The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate expert level knowledge of: Natural gas fired engines (Caterpillar, Waukesha), Large horsepower electric motors, Gas compressors (Ariel, Dresser Rand), Screw compressors (Frick, Mycom, Howden) and PLC control systems.
Proven experience building and leading a team of skilled mechanical technicians in a fast paced, schedule driven environment.
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 to 10 years’ related industry experience.
Two year technical diploma or vocational certificate desired.
Aggressive commitment to worker safety.
Building and supervision a mechanical team.
Building and supervising a unit testing team.
Previous experience mentoring junior staff
