Our Boston client is looking for a Senior Storage / Network Engineer to join the Server team
Position Summary:
The Senior Storage / Network Engineer will be responsible for architecture, and the day to day production support of the Server and Storage infrastructure.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
* Expert Hands on experience with Windows 2003 Operating Systems and Active Directory/GPO Troubleshooting.
* Expert Hands on experience with Windows/SQL Clustering
* Hands on analyst/architecture experience is a plus
* Expert Hands on experience and Administration with Windows 2003 Terminal Services.
* Expert Hands on experience with installing, configuring and administering VMware ESX 3.5 and
Virtual Center 2.5 servers.
* Good understanding of SAN Storage (Netapp,HP Storage)
* Good Understanding of Windows Scripting (VBS, Jscript, PowerShell)
* Strong Windows Networking Skills
* Strong Knowledge of HP hardware
* Be able to monitor infrastructure performance and status, proactively address issues.
* Should have excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
* Should have excellent customer service and team skills.
