Our Addison, TX client is looking for a Service Coordinator/Dispatcher. The selected candidate will have the following skill set:

Essential Functions:
Receive inbound service calls and obtain needed information so that work orders can be accurately opened.
Open work orders directly into business operating system and update status code and notes as changes occur.
Utilize GPS and call priority to dispatch technicians to customer locations.
Utilize reports to schedule all scheduled maintenance so that each is completed by their due dates to ensure expectations are met. Track those that can not completed and update with appropriate status code if necessary.
Report any changes in customer location, fleet or service needs to appropriate department.
Monitor and manage WIP (Work in Progress) by updating work order notes and utilizing appropriate status codes.
Refer all questions regarding service quality, technical issues and invoicing to appropriate service management for resolution.

Other Duties:
Recognize trucks under warranty and CFPM for billing purposes.
Provide next day’s assignment to technician before they finish their day.
Use logical thinking in making technicians’ assignments throughout the day; minimize travel time, delays.
Advise supervisor of any potential service issues as soon as possible.
Work with Service Coordinator I to ensure that data for all work orders has been entered accurately in order to bill for services rendered.
Assist Service Coordinator I with their workload in their absence and/or in other times of need.

Educational / Experience Requirements:
High school graduate. One to two years of college-level study preferable. Two years experience in fast-paced service-oriented business with customer contact desirable. Familiarity with computerized business systems important. Be able to learn the Irium system with training.

Special Skills Needed:
Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and have excellent telephone and customer service skills. Good interpersonal skills essential. Should be able to function effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment while striving to meet customer requirements. Must be detail oriented and organized. Good keyboarding skills and proficiency with PC, MS Office, Outlook and type minimum 10,000 KPH important.

Physical Requirements:
Climb stairs to offices daily. Communicate effectively by telephone, use PC, type and perform data entry. Read reports, parts lists, invoices and other detailed documents.  Read monitor screens and status boards. Maintain fast pace at workstation throughout eight-hour day with occasional breaks. Regular, punctual attendance an absolute requirement.
