Job Summary
The Service Desk Manager (SDM) will oversee the entire Tier I and Tier II Service Desk (SD) staff including recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees. The SDM will ensure that end users are receiving the appropriate assistance in a prompt and professional manner, and will manage all procedures related to the identification, prioritization, and resolution of end user trouble tickets, including monitoring, tracking, and coordination of SD functions.
Job Requirements:
– Serve as the main point of contact on all Service Desk related matters.
– Identify and provide standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis.
– Interact with customers on all levels to resolve IT related issues in a timely manner.
– Resolves and/or escalates IT related issues in a timely manner
Skills / Qualifications
– Developing / Implementing standards
– Proficient in the work order/incident management tool Numara Footprints.
– 8+ years related experience with 2 years management experience.
– 4 year college degree or equivalent experience
– Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred
