Our Washington DC client, a nationwide award winning Motorola and Honeywell Integration partner focused on Fortune 1000 healthcare and supply chain customers is looking for a System Sales Engineer to join their team on a direct hire basis.

Position Overview:
As a member of the Professional Services team, the job entails 40% pre-sales technical sales efforts, 30% Installation, Configuration and 30% Post-Sales Support/Trouble Shooting. Work performed is often with wireless and barcode based computers networked via cellular connected or wireless LAN connected. Experience in this industry is a requirement.
Focus is on system and solution selling and support to end-users and a network of ISV’s.

Essential Functions:
Take direction from VP Sales and Professional Services Manager to effectively satisfy prospect and customer requirements
Call on existing customers to maximize revenue of professional services, software and integration
Help determine the correct combination of software, hardware and services to meet the needs of clients in Healthcare, Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing, and Logistics industries.
Work in a pre-sales and post sales environments
Provides weekly prioritized account report based on dollar volume impact.
Attend industry trade shows and events as needed
Follows written procedures for order processing, demo units and configuration requests

Education:
College Degree

Knowledge:
Entrepreneurial mind-set
Experience with complex systems and new device shortfalls in the enterprise mobility Market.
Wireless infrastructures of Motorola, Aruba and Cisco.
Development and emulation environments of Motorola, Honeywell, Intermec, Microsoft, Soti, Wavelink, Air Watch and Air Defense.
Field Mobility, Warehouse Automation familiarity.

Special Requirements:
Work environment will be home office, remote location.
Must be open to 40-50% travel (cover a 4 state territory)
Ability to travel to customer sites in surrounding states, sometimes outside the territory.

2 week paid vacation 1st year.

Ability to use good human relations skills to interact with customer, company members, and others
Mileage reimbursed at .50 per mile.
