Our Austin, TX based client is in need of a technical writer on a contract to possible hire basis:
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Writing detailed technical request for proposal (RFP) responses for enterprise software to businesses.
RFP responses should have lead to short list or wins
Enterprise software like oracle financials, sap, PeopleSoft, sales force, Siebel
Will write large RFP responses in MS Word using visio graphics, complex formatting, TOC.
Will use substantial amount of images, Excel and PowerPoint
RFP will consist of up to 200 pages in length
Qualifications:
4 to 5 years technical writing experience
Must be proficient in writing RFP’s
Excellent critical thinking
Flexible hours a plus
Good Communication Skills
