Our Littleton, CO client is looking for a Warehouse Manager to join their team on a one year contract.
Position Description:
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the day to day operation of the warehouse and handles the scheduling of the inbound and outbound volume shipments and their unloading and loading. Part of this function is to check-in the items by looking up the purchase order, inspecting for damages, checking the piece count, and making sure that we receive what was ordered. This person will also be responsible for daily communication with the Purchasing Agent and Project Manager. Another critical function is the keeping of an accurate sign out log to be used by anyone wishing to remove stock from the warehouse.
Skills or knowledge needed to perform the function of Warehouse Manager:
Fedex and UPS shipping
Excel programs, Microsoft Outlook Ability to create and keep good records Maintain an accurate sign out log
Highly organized, maintain a clean work environment
Good communications skills Good Excellent hand writing and lettering
Problem solving capabilities
Proficient with a forklift, and the proper use of a rug pole
Excellent depth perception and vision
Knowledge of digital cameras and the transferring of photos to a computer
Able to work overtime and weekends when and if needed
Good time management skills
