Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Websphere Commerce Developer on a contract to hire basis.
Job Description:
We have a B2B and a B2C websphere site using WebSphere Commerce Enterprise v6 & v7. This job requires a thorough understanding of both WebSphere Commerce v6 & v7 development. Careful attention to detail is also required as you must help migrate the B2B store from v6 into v7 with an existing B2C store, using extended sites.
What you need for this position!
6+yrs IT (REQUIRED)
Solid WCS experience (REQUIRED)
WCS v7 experience (REQUIRED)
B2B and B2C development experience (REQUIRED)
DB2 v9.7
Experienced web developer, familiar with all aspects of a B2B & B2C web development environments
Experience with cross-browser development
Knowledge of Web Architecture such as session, cache, cookies
DHTML, JavaScript (2+years)
Additional Preferences:
AJAX a plus
Direct Sales development experience a plus
Design skills in addition to technical skills
Specific Accountabilities:
Must have all required skills to be considered
Need to have migration experience from v6 to v7
Understands technical and functional design requirements.
Designs, codes, and tests technical solutions.
Full life cycle application development
Gather information from users to create specifications and develop code for new and existing systems
Follow Software Change Management guidelines
File weekly report of Service Requests status
