Our McKinney, TX client is seeking a contract to possible hire Accounting/ Administrative Assistant.
Responsibilities:
-
Daily customer invoicing, creating backorders, fulfilling customer requests of invoice copies, billing questions, etc.

Receiving customer payments, applying customer payments to individual accounts, preparing deposits, reconciling credit card payments from customers etc.
-
Daily receiving of vendor invoices, matching invoices to receiving records and purchase orders, entering accounts payable invoices into system, reconciling company credit card statements etc.

Tracking and reconciling freight charges from vendors.
-
Daily mail management, filing duties, office supplies, copier repairs and other general office tasks.

Basic understanding of a General Ledger, and monthly bank reconciliations.
Qualifications:
-
2-5 years of experience.

Working knowledge of MS Office Excel and Word.
-
Good communication skills both written and verbal.
-
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills.
