Our Dallas, TX client is looking an Accounting/Disbursements Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
The position is responsible for the oversight of accurate and timely day-to-day processing of Accounts Payable (A/P) and Payroll (PR) functions.  Develops audit procedures for A/P and PR, completes ongoing audits for the A/P and PR Depts and completes special projects, as assigned.  Directly manages the A/P and PR Depts. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Manage A/P functions and ensure timely and accurate payments of vendor invoices and expense reimbursements.
Oversee and conduct A/P audits to ensure compliance with A/P processes and policy.
Manage PR and ensure accurate and timely recording of hours of work, compile payroll reports, maintain control records and calculate payroll.
Supervise and audit computation of pay according to company policy and in accordance with government regulations and tax codes.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education:  Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
Experience:  Three or more years supervisory and related AP and Payroll experience, specifically with multi-state payroll processing.
Computer Skills:   Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, experience with an ERP system (Solomon preferred) and an automated payroll processing system (Ceridian preferred).
