Our Irving, TX client is seeking an Administrative Assistant/Sales Support professional on a contract to possible hire basis. 

Duties:
Perform reception duties in an efficient, professional and courteous manner.
Assist with marketing mailings, including errands to post office
Answer all incoming calls and communicate and liaise verbally and in writing between customers/visitors/inquirers and relevant staff, interpret and respond clearly and effectively to spoken requests over the phone or in person, and to verbal or written instructions.
Order and maintain relevant office supplies including refreshments and literature requests for outside sales as well as equipment for company; to include keeping office areas tidy.
Cross train with Inside Sales Manager – must be capable of performing all Inside Sales responsibilities.  Continuously cross train as new inside sales staff and inside sales functions are implemented.
Receive all Purchase orders, review for accuracy and forward to manufacturers as necessary.  Acknowledge order to customer – including but not limited to estimated ship date, shipment tracking, submittal and approved drawings – update Project and Purchase Order reports accordingly.
Manage, organize, and update relevant data using database applications and spreadsheets.  Administer service calls by completing necessary documentation and follow up on service calls with manufacturer and/or customer to ensure work has been completed and customer is satisfied.
Resolve product or service problems by clarifying the customer’s complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
Arrange and participate in company meetings, conferences, and project team activities.
Distribute Factory Acknowledgements/submittal drawings to dealers when they are not sent direct.
File drawings, Factory Acknowledgements electronically on company server
Work with other inside Sales to Demo Equipment spreadsheet and Quotes on all equipment in warehouses and out in the field on test.
Monthly follow up on all tests that are being conducted in the field/
Other duties include Sample Requests, Literature Requests, Scheduling Start-Ups of Equipment and Assigning leads

Requirements:
2-5 years administrative experience.  Inside sales support experience is highly preferred.
Ability to manage multiple projects and/or tasks simultaneously
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, dependability and interpersonal skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel & Word
Willingness to work in a fast paced team environment
