Our Northwest Houston client is looking to hire a Bilingual Customer Service Representative on a contract to possible hire basis.
Job Summary:
-
The successful candidate will receive and process incoming sales and service requests to meet the needs of the customer.
Job Duties:
-
Actively supports the company’s quality process to achieve total satisfaction of customer’s requirements.

Answers all incoming requests for products and services.
-
Processes all customer purchase orders.
-
Informs the customer of the order status and takes action to ensure orders are expedited to meet the customer’s needs.

Provides copies of literature to customers as needed. (i.e. Operation and maintenance manuals, spec sheets, etc.)
-
Works closely with the Business Unit Leader and Operations Manager, regional sales managers to service new and existing accounts.

Prepares all customers quotations per customer specifications.
-
Logs customer complaints, notifies management of any lost sales and initiates resolution of the problem to prevent recurrence.

Processes product returns.
-
Maintains complete and current catalogs and price lists for the purpose of providing customers with information and assistance.

Assists in the training and development of any new CSR’s.
-
Processes credit memos when needed as outlined in the procedure manual.

Sees that all invoice filing is update and easily attainable.
-
Provides proof of deliveries as needed.
Job requirements:
-
Previous sales or customer service experience preferred.
-
High School diploma or equivalent.
-
Product knowledge of industrial safety products a plus.
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
-
Ability to read, write and speak English and Spanish.

Ability to problem solve
-
Ability to calculate figures including discounts, commissions and volume.
-
Attention to detail with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
