Our Garland, TX client is looking for a Compensation Analyst on a contract to possible hire basis.

Summary:
Responsible for implementing the organization’s compensation programs following established standards and policies so these programs are administered effectively and in accordance with the organization’s compensation strategy. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides recommendation of organization’s market and structure analysis
Responsible for job analysis and evaluation, salary administration, analyze compensation surveys and obtain all necessary information to prepare compensation proposal and budgets
Provides guidance and maintain compliance to Fair Labor Standards Act as it applies to job classifications, pay processes, and compensation practices
Benchmarks functional programs and practices relative to the market
Analyzes data to determine organization’s competitive position and recommends changes as needed
Other related duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Knowledge of principles, theories and practices of the various functions of Human Resources
Knowledge of significant federal, state and local laws pertaining to Human Resources
Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Access, Outlook and Word
Skill in preparing reports, graphs and spreadsheets
Skill in performing data analysis
Ability to effectively communicate goals and objectives

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Finance or related area, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
4-5 years experience in Human Resource operations and functions
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. extensive experience with Pivot Tables, VLookup formulas, etc.)
CCP (Certified Compensation Professional) preferred
