Our Northwest Houston, TX client is in need of a Corporate Controller.

Objective:
To maintain company’s physical and financial infrastructure so that each employee has the greatest opportunity for success, clients maintain confidence in our ability to support them, and each year we gain in financial strength. Because this is a smaller company, this person and his/her staff of 4 will handle all Accounting duties and Human Resource Duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Participate in corporate strategic planning sessions.
Manage all financial, office, human resources, and other administrative staff in the corporate office.
Maintain relationships with administrative staff in other offices, ensuring finance and human resource activities are in compliance with corporate requirements.
Establish and maintain corporate budgets.
Manage all bookkeeping and financial reporting, including bank reconciliations, balance sheets, profit and loss reports, and key performance indicators.
Work with external accounting firm to prepare and submit corporate tax returns. -Establish and manage all internal systems for project record-keeping, job profitability, and employee value to the organization.
Establish and manage all systems for billing, sales analysis, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, and financial forecasting.
Manage all aspects of human resources, including recruiting, retention, payroll, benefits, issue resolution, and terminations. If external services are used, manage the relevant relationships and ensure service levels are maintained.
Maintain employee policies and manage maintenance of employee manuals for each country location.
Manage maintenance of employee website.
Manage and calculate all flexible compensation, such as commissions and bonuses, and ensure accurate and timely payment.
Establish and maintain banking and capital funding relationships.
Provide input to the corporate Business Plan and other related documents to help focus corporate strategy.
Perform all facilities management leadership tasks.

Required Qualifications and Attributes:
Minimum 5 years experience in the service industry, and CPA qualification.
Proven ability to manage corporate finances, operations, and facilities.
Experience maintaining legal, financial, and administrative areas for companies in the service industry.
Ability to track profitability and productivity levels.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to lead and influence others at all levels to accomplish goals.
Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills.
Prefer knowledge of Integrity products and services.
Strong problem solving abilities.
Excellent customer service skills and strong service ethic.
