Our Phoenix, AZ client is seeking a Customer Service Representative on a contract to possible hire basis to effectively represent company with the highest customer service while professionally promoting vacation and education packages.

The first 60 – 90 days is an initial trial period to effectively address your strengths as an efficient service-sales agent and member of the team. Within this time frequent training and guidance will be given to assist you with your growth as an agent in the call center. Following the first two-three months of employment a formal evaluation will be set to address your growth and progress.

The Customer Service Representative will alternate a schedule to work 7-3:30, Monday through Friday with 2 Saturday’s expected per month totaling 40 hours per week.  The Saturday schedule is a 4 hour shift in which one workday can be taken as a half day to make up for the Saturday worked.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Handle all sales calls coming into the center with professionalism and with a positive attitude at all times.
Assist with company initiatives/programs as warranted.
Responsible to stay current with the information on company web sites to effectively represent brands while when speaking with customers.
Maintain an organized work space.
Maintain labeled files and systems for all open requests (in the event that a staff member is out, each team member must know where files are kept and easily found for customer service reasons).
Effectively and efficiently manage existing starting time requests, quotes and packages to ensure all details are followed through on a booking as underlined in your training.
Accountability in proficiently managing your time throughout a work day to ensure confirmations go out on based on standards set, customer service issues are handled promptly and phone calls are answered on a timely basis.
Assist with other areas of the business as needed.

Qualifications:
Sales / Service experience background
Preference is call center experience, hospitality, golf, and or travel background is a huge plus.
Knowledge in Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Well-developed communication skills – oral, written, listening. Good analytical and negotiation skills, and close attention to detail. Excellent project management skills, including the ability to lead, facilitate, and organize. Must have excellent leadership, interpersonal and motivation skills.
Accepts, adapts to change as directed; understands change is a constant and necessary path for improvement and growth. Questions the status quo by asking “Why?” questions about own work processes and work environment.

Configuration of pricing, in order to negotiate and meet particular client budgets and specialty pricing. Ability to price out entire events and custom packages as needed and in a timely fashion.
