Our Fort Worth, TX client is seeking Customer Service/Data Entry on a contract to possible hire basis.
OVERVIEW:
Responsible for assisting the Document Control Manager in fulfilling the requirements of providing accurate and timely documentation to the production floor and for sustaining the Engineering Department with required documentation.
KEY ACTIVITIES:
Provide support to department manager as required
Answer part calls, taking parts orders as required
Research parts numbers and details
Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with co-workers
Provide support for part location lookup and determining status of parts
Provide answers to technical questions as able
Multi-task assignments
Perform clerical and administrative (including data entry) duties and special projects as needed or delegated
Maintain and distribute open order reports; attend weekly open order report meeting
REQUIREMENTS:
A minimum of one to three years of basic clerical and/or customer service experience.
Must be able to type a minimum of 40 words per minute with few errors.
Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) experience is required.
Strong communication, organizational, time management, and task prioritization skills are essential in this position.
High school diploma or equivalent is required
