Our West Houston, TX client is in need of a Direct Hire HR Manager.
Duties:
Employee orientation, training & development
Compensation and benefits administration, including 401(k) plan
Manage services provided and relationship with benefit service providers
Assisting employees with general questions relating to HR policies/procedures
Counseling/consulting on employee performance and other employee relations issues
Addressing needs of employees and the Company by developing and facilitating training programs
Regulatory compliance including managing resolution of any claims that arise
Performance management, reviews and succession planning
Company policy and employee handbooks
Job descriptions, organizational charts and headcount
Productivity and performance metrics
Recruiting, hiring, retention and termination of employees
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bilingual is a plus
Industrial experience preferred
4 year college degree in business or related field
5-7 years of work experience
Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of principles and practices of Human Resource administration
Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and regulation
Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed (travel will be at least once a month)
Superior written and verbal communication skills
Ability to establish and maintain positive and healthy relationships and work with employees at all levels
Must be self-motivated, energetic and forward thinking possessing integrity and high ethical standards
Proven ability to handle complex problems and issues in a delicate and confidential manner
