Our client Houston TX, located in the Galleria area, is in need of a Letter of Credit Administrator .

This position will support the trading department and report to the Director of Trading.
Obtains necessary information to process and complete letters of credit for import or export: Notifies exporters and importers of issuance of letters of credit covering shipment of product.
Verifies all documentation for accuracy and completeness for compliance with international standards.
Verifies terms to include; value, insurance coverage, and shipping conditions as per agreements.
Coordinates with finance and our banking institutes for compliance to bank standards to ensure all credit data is evaluated and adheres to bank policies and procedures.
Responsible for document retention of trades.
Establishes and maintains reporting for management.

Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with a variety of the alternative energy concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
