Our client in Kingwood, TX is seeking a Logistics Coordinator/Sales Assistant to join their team on a Temp to Possible Hire basis.

The ideal candidate will have previous logistics experience, be extremely organized, intermediate to advanced MS Excel skills, have the ability to wear multiple hats, and work well in a fast-paced environment.  This is an opportunity to join a progressive company that boasts a very friendly, pleasant environment with a small team that works well together.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work with freight forwarders and track vessels to monitor transport of material
Enter material into system for proper tracking
Work with company warehouses nation-wide to coordinate shipment of materials
Assist with monthly written inventory and quarterly physical inventory
Assist sales department with write up of orders
Process orders, Bills of Lading, and invoices for sales department
Ad hoc projects as needed

Requirements:
2-3 years experience in a Logistics Coordinator role
Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is a plus
Intermediate to Advanced MS Excel skills
Ability to handle multiple projects seamlessly
Strong work ethic and excellent follow-up are required
Comfortable wearing multiple hats
