Our Dallas oil and gas client is looking for a Measurement Data Administrator to join their team on a direct hire basis.
Job Objective:
Edit measurement data with the use of FlowCal software
Job Functions:
To perform all aspects of the gas measurement functions to ensure that the measured quantities are accurate and comply with gas industry and company standards.
Coordinate with Commercial, Gas Control, Field personnel, Customer service, Engineering, Billing, Scheduling and External customers to resolve measurement problems.
Provide departmental reports for internal and external customers.
Responsible for ensuring that measurement data has been collected and accurate,
Import EFM measurement data from field devices into FlowCal measurement system.
Import Gas Quality Data into FlowCal Measurement System.
Edit the measurement data.
Assist in system balancing.
Coordinate meter test and gas sampling schedule.
Troubleshoot measurement errors and help find the reason for the error.
Other duties as required.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Knowledge of reporting via computer.
Should be familiar with reviewing gas measurement data for the purposes of resolving measurement discrepancies using FlowCal (or similar software product).
Knowledge of Field Measurement procedures.
Knowledge of Gas Quality calculations and results.
2+ years of experience with FlowCal software required.
Knowledge of gas measurement.
Pipeline Segment balancing.
Gas Measurement procedures and practices.
Proficient with multiple software applications including, but not limited to MS Office Suite.
