Our Humble, TX client is seeking an Office Manager for a Direct Hire opportunity.
MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To oversee the running of the office, ensuring customer expectations and management requirements are being met in all areas of the business.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain key accounts with clients.
Liaise with the key members of staff both onshore and offshore to ensure their needs are met and that supply of goods and services is to their satisfaction.
Maintain Vendor database ensuring most effective chain of supply.
Oversee quotes and contracts.
Ensure QA requirements are met
Assist in the training and development of Assistant Buyers, Buyers, and Senior Buyers.
Oversee financial requirements of the business, cash flow, payments, accounts receivable; ensuring tasks are being carried out in line with business requirements.
COMMUNICATIONS:
Daily contact with Management Team, Buyers and Accountant / finance representative
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING:
Oil & Gas Industry Knowledge
Previous Purchasing Experience in an Oil & Gas Environment
Basic understanding of Financial data, Cash Flows, Credit Control
Previous experience of managing a small team
Ability to react to changing situations and multi task
QHSE Awareness / Understanding and Implementation.
PERSONAL QUALITIES/REQUIREMENTS:
Good telephone manner, communication / interpersonal skills
Build sound relationships with customers / suppliers / staff
