Our Houston, TX client, located in the Houston Heights area, is in need of an Order Entry Clerk for a Contract to Possible Hire opportunity.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITY:
The Orders Clerk position requires creating invoices and recording credit card transactions that         have been processed.
Entering invoices into Quickbooks
Taking incoming calls
Quoting clients on prices
Client follow-up
Entering sales orders
Filing
Faxing
Data entry

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has room to gain additional responsibilities
Will eventually take incoming calls for orders and quoting prices

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR ABILITIES REQUIRES:
Must have experience with Quickbooks and MS Excel (2012)
Prior order entry preferred
Clerical: Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records
Customer and Personal Service: Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
Time Management: Managing one’s own time
