Our client in The Woodlands, TX is seeking a Payroll Assistant on a Temporary basis.
This is an opportunity to join a fun office culture, friendly staff, and fast-paced environment through one of their busiest seasons. The ideal candidate will have previous payroll experience, computer savvy for conducting research, and a great team player mentality.
Payroll Assistant Responsibilities:
Help create and upload W2 files
Help create and upload state unemployment files
Upload and submit payroll returns
Contact clients for Tax Account information
Scan/Fax Power of Attorney forms to state
Assist with any mail outs that are required
Ad hoc projects as assigned by manager
Payroll Assistant Requirements:
Previous payroll experience highly preferred
4+ years of administrative experience
Work well in a team environment and operate at a fast pace
Computer savvy – capable of performing research and follows instruction well
Ability to work well autonomously
