Our client in Irving TX is looking for a contract to hire Purchase Order Administrator.   The primary function is to perform all administrative activities associated with the fulfillment of work orders/ purchase orders, in particular providing schedules, acknowledgment via web portals, customer interface, logistics tracking & data entry.

Essential Functions:

Ensure all work orders/ purchase orders are managed in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures and that all transactions meet the customer’s criteria.

Obtain and process customer work orders/ purchase orders for scheduled routes and emergency services.

Assist in billing, creating invoices, matching all work orders/ purchase orders with services performed.

Assist sales, customer service, credit and collection, and billing on accounts that require purchase orders / work orders.

Reconciles complex issues on customer accounts.

Communicate with customers on scheduling and completing work orders.

Prepares monthly summary reports on account progress.

Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.

Conform to all safety rules and use all appropriate safety equipment.

Communicate with co-workers, management, clients, vendors and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Coordinates with other departments

Other duties as assigned

Required Education, Employment Experience and Skills (Must Haves):

Education:      

High School degree or two years experience as Office Coordinator

Employment Experience and Skills:

Two years of general office experience

Excellent organizational skills

The ability to prioritize and manage time

Excellent judgment and decision making skills

Microsoft Office Suite of products including Word, Excel

Experience with Access, PowerPoint and Outlook a plus. 

Professional appearance and demeanor.

Working Environment:

There are no special physical requirements for this position.
