Our Plano, TX client is seeking a Revenue Analyst who will be responsible for significant month end revenue close duties and necessary reconciliations.

Responsibilities:
Review and reconcile monthly customer billing reports
Preparation of customer invoices based on billing reports
Preparation of required journal entries during monthly/quarterly close cycles
Assisting in the monthly and quarterly revenue reporting process, as well as providing support in quarter and year-end review/audit procedures
Assisting in supporting year-end Audit of the revenue cycle
Analyzing sales contracts to ensure worldwide revenues are properly accounted for according to US GAAP
Reviewing status of professional services work for revenue recognition purposes
Tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) for the Company
Reconciliation of mobile carrier commissions
Documentation of processes and ensuring those processes are adhered to within the SOW to Cash process
Requirements:
Self motivated professional with 3-5 years experience in accounting/finance organization
Strong general knowledge of other accounting and finance areas beyond revenue
Excellent interpersonal skills, as the position requires effective interactions with all levels of personnel
Proficient in Excel, including pivot tables, vlookup, etc
Experience with QuickBooks and ERP systems a plus
Bachelor’s degree required
