Our Fort Worth TX client is looking for a Senior Bookkeeper to join their team.

Responsibilities:
Post business transactions correctly and timely in the accounting software
Post Accounts Receivables
Pay Accounts Payable upon authorization from Management.
Responsible for business transactions on a day-to-day, month-to-month basis.
Verify, allocate and post transactions into the proper journals making sure that there are documents to back up any transaction.
The following are the type of documents maintained by the Senior Bookkeeper: Sales slips, Invoices, Receipts, Check Stubs, Financial Reports.
Summarizes details in the specific ledgers, keeping things in order and providing accurate statements for the owner or manager of a company.
Mail out monthly statements to customers, pay vendors and assist Senior Accountants in conducting payroll for the portfolio companies.
Process Payroll checks, and verifies payable accounts.
Reconcile bank statements and keep the Accounts Receivables up to date.
Perform quarterly, bi-annually and annually certain financial reporting functions on the job.
Assisting with physical inventory, assisting with the procurement of goods and services and assisting Senior Accountants with all government tax filings.

Qualifications:
Good communication skills, not only the ability to make reports but explain them verbally and in writing.
Capabile of holding meetings and demonstrating financial facts to the one’s in the company who need this information.
Must have the ability to work well in a team.
Computer skills are a must and operational knowledge of QuickBooks, and Microsoft Dynamics GP and/or AX is essential.
Operational knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word) is required.
Associates or Bachelor’s Degree Required.
CPA candidate preferred.
3 years + corporate accounting or audit experience is a MUST.
Must be highly skilled in use of Microsoft Excel
Experience with mid-sized GL packages
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
Must have excellent work habits and detail oriented with ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
Must have ability to work well in a team environment that promotes communication and cooperation among team members
