Our client in The Colony, TX Is looking for a Staff Accountant:
A fast growing, industrial machinery company seeks a Staff Accountant with a minimum of 2 years experience. Key traits for this position are an eye for detail and ability to assist with accounting functions (PR, AP, AR, Journal Entry). This position will also oversee time management duties and benefits administration for our medium sized office.
The position is based out of our North Dallas, TX headquarters.
The position for Staff Accountant entails:
Responsibilities
Review and record expense reports (overseeing proper time sheet reporting and per diem)
Monitor employee compliance with company policies/HR
Payroll reporting
Reconcile bank statements
Accounting duties (AP, AR, JE, and assist with month end close)
Address customer questions relating to invoicing–must provide excellent customer service
Job Requirements
2+ years Accounting experience
High level of integrity, honesty, and work ethic
Great communication skills(verbal/written) combined with a friendly personality
Must be computer literate (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Prefer SAP experience, but can train “right” individual
May require prolonged sitting at computer
