Our Stafford, TX client has an immediate opening for 2 Technical customer service representatives for a contract to possible hire opportunity.
The essential functions of the Customer Service Representative are as followed, but are not limited to the following:
Promote and sell gas detection products and services in a positive manner using marketing skills.
Monitor each step of the order process to completion, from first inquiry to shipment of goods.
Probe all technical inquiries and ensure follow-up with solution utilizing own product knowledge or coordinating with other departments for technical support as necessary.
Develop communicative relationships with key customers to track orders and alert them of new product announcements, delivery problems on orders and special sales promotions.
Prepare and send out standard quotations.
Maintain non-selling activities such as filing, return goods authorization, gaining and keeping current with product knowledge.
Requirements:
This position is slightly more technical than a regular customer service rep. Must be able to retain product knowledge and eventually offer technical assistance to customers on specialty products.
Experience in a Customer Service or inside sales position where full cycle of order was handled. (order entry through shipment)
Ability to grasp technical concepts
Experience with SAP is a HUGE plus, but other CRM or ERP experience will be considered.
