Our Dallas, TX client is seeking a Technical Sales Account Executive. Compensation for this position will be a base salary and commission. This client is looking for the following: Outgoing, Detail Oriented, Professional, Team Player, Opinions & Suggestions, Comfortable talking to clients on the phone and in person, Ability to guide clients, Excellent follow up skills, Ability to interact with students and VP’s as well as everyone in between, Goal Driven.
Researching information for prospects and supporting marketing efforts.
Outbound sales calls to potential, existing, or former clients within specific territory.
Marketing/Cold Calls (approx. 10%),
Attend approximately three trade shows per year, 1x per quarter travel for client visits.
Accurately complete expense reports.
Meet established goals.
Listen to clients and offer customized or cost savings training options based on needs.
Other duties as needed.
Minimum of 3-5 years of telephone sales or business to business sales.
Intermediate knowledge of MS Office 2003 & 2007.
Ability to travel 20% of their time to trade shows and customer visits.
Must be able to pass a background credit check.
Prior usage of sales contact data base.
Goldmine is a plus, but not required.
High energy, self-motivated, performance base individual.
Effective communication skills, verbal and written.
Excellent organization skills.
Team leadership skills.
