Our Southwest Houston, TX client is seeking 1-3 Technical Services Engineer s on a contract to possible hire basis. This position requires the technician to support multiple locations remotely with possibility of onsite support if an issue cannot be resolved remotely.

The Technician will provide support of all desktop software, operating system, network issues, remote access and handheld issues by monitoring service desk tickets.

Provide support to users who are experiencing the following:
Desktop operating system.
Connectivity and application issues.
Perform hardware diagnostics and coordinate repairs.
Participate in planning, scheduling, and executing computer and network equipment installations.
Configurations, upgrades and networking projects.

Requirements:
Must have hands on experience providing end-user support for current PC’s and Laptops, application software and installing, configuring, upgrading, troubleshooting network environments.
Current MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) Certification.
Must have the ability to be self managed and motivated, and be willing to provide the highest level of customer service.
Ability To Communicate With All Levels Of End-User (Verbal And Written).
Excellent Teamwork Skills.
Excellent Time-Management And Organizational Skills.
Analytical And Solution Oriented.
Self-Motivated And Goal-Oriented.

Must have knowledge of the following:
Building and Troubleshooting Domains, Security, GPO’s Client Relationship, NetworkServices DNS,Active Director, IIS, Microsoft Forefront / ISA Server, Citrix, All Standard Ports, Multiple Back-Up Software, XP And Windows7, Firewalls Installation And Configuration, Managed Switches, Basic File/Print Server Setups, Blackberry Server Support, Windows Mobile Phone Support, Circuit Cutover, Routing, Server Storage Hardware NAS / SAN, Server Side Anti-Virus/Spam Management, Wireless AP, Windows Server 2003/2008 Domain Migration Skills, Exchange 2003/2007/2010 And Migration Skills, Sharepoint Server Installation And User Configuration, and SQL Server Installation And Configuration.
Experience With Multiple Application Titles Such As: Msoffice Suite, Quickbooks, Peachtree,
Terminal Services Farm / Remote Desktop- Installation, Configuration And Customer Customization, Virtualization – Design, Install And Support, Help/Service Desk And Trouble Ticket Procedures / Concepts, PC Hardware (Desktop / Laptop) Troubleshooting, and PC Application Troubleshooting.
