Our Northwest Houston, TX client is seeking an Executive VP of Sales to build a sales team and increase revenue.  This position will require about 60% travel time.

The  EVP of Sales will be responsible for generating sales with new and existing customers as a way of pursuing the goals and objectives of the company. The position will be focused on expanding product usage within major Oil and Service company operations, as well as managing a sales team.
In addition, the EVP of Sales will assist in defining a strategy for sustainable and profitable growth and driving its implementation. Seeking new business opportunities for involvement and highlighting new products for involvement.
Establish credibility and begin exerting influence at all levels within the organization.
Continue the company’s momentum by winning major sales with new customers.
Assist in the development of a business plan for growth that assesses the company’s current competitive position, product/service mix and market trends.
Work to create brand recognition and raise company visibility at senior management levels within the customer base through active leadership roles in industry associations.

Requirements:
Minimum 5+ years of related experience in the oil and gas industry. Wireline or Drilling experience preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree required
Positive track record of sales and marketing including marketing plan development and implementation, goal achievement, margin improvements, growth improvements.
History of positive direct interaction and extensive contacts in the oil and gas industry.
Intelligent, hard charging and business focused.
High-energy, results-oriented, self-starting individual who is capable of quickly contributing to the growth of the company.
Intellectually curious and creative; a risk-taker, comfortable with calculated and well-planned business risks.
