Our Austin, TX based client is looking for a Certified Professional Coder for a three month contract.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Reviewing surgeries for accurate coding by physicians based on documentation, auditing claims/charts, researching coding denials etc.
Reviews denied claims and advises service staff regarding appeals
Additional Duties as Assigned
Qualifications:
CPC Certified
Three years of coding experience
Professional demeanor and attitude
Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel and Outlook)
Works well in a team environment
