Frontline Source Group – temporary staffing and direct hire firm – is looking for a Controller for our Franklin, TN client on a direct hire basis.
Primary responsibilities for this position include the following:
Supervise 1-2 accountants in the month-end closing process, including monthly reporting package with variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries for our construction company.
Review monthly draw process on several development projects under construction.
Oversee job costing procedures and record keeping.
Evaluate completeness and accuracy of proformas on new development projects.
Establish internal control system for construction company, including review of subcontracts, payments to vendors, bonding, and review of vendor financial statements.
Job Requirements:
CPA with Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
5+ years of Real Estate accounting experience with a Commercial or Multi-Family Construction firm a must.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail required.
Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills.
Solid teamwork and customer service skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and General Ledger skills a must.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job and thrive in an intensive, results-driven work environment. Public accounting experience a plus.
