Our client in Dallas, TX Is looking for an Executive Assistant:

Position Summary:
The position of Executive Assistant is responsible for providing support to the CEO and must be able to work independently with little or no supervision.  Must be exceedingly well organized, flexible and enjoy the challenges of supporting diverse programs related to the internal and external initiatives of a very active CEO, while interacting with staff at all levels, the general public, clients, contractors, members of civic and non-profit organizations, and government officials. 

Primary Responsibilities:
Heavy calendar management with both internal and external contacts.  Set up and coordinate logistics for trips, meetings and events, assist with certifications, process membership fees/contribution requests, reconcile credit card bills and process expense reports of CEO, arrange speaking events, organize travel and debrief for follow-up after, and manage phone, email and other contact lists.
Assist Executive with preparation of presentation materials, marketing materials, SOQ’s, submittals, prioritize; and manage multiple projects and follow through on issues in a timely manner.
Assist with general administration and light clerical duties such as office supplies inventory, office equipment repair and needs, incoming and outgoing courier and postal deliveries, and assisting as needed to cover receptionist duties using a multi-line Nortel phone system.
Managing incoming and outgoing electronic and written communications of CEO.

Candidate Requirements:
Must demonstrate a professional/pleasant manner, good phone etiquette, and a high level of comfort in dealing with people at all levels, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient.  Must possess ability to solve problems, be self-motivated, work in a team environment, and take initiative.
Excellent organizational, calendar management, and time management skills with a high level of computer literacy (PC and internet) with strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) with a meticulous attention to detail. Strong written and oral communication skills.
Available to start immediately after passing a written and oral exam

Minimum Job Requirements:
Five plus years Executive Assistant experience
High School diploma; college degree preferred
Strong working knowledge of marketing, and construction industries.
Must pass Drug Test, Background Check, Pre-Employment Test (if applicable) and pass security screening as required for on-site access of customer/other work sites.
