Our Fort Worth, TX client is in need of an HR Manager on a contract to possible hire basis.

Position Summary:
Perform Human Resources Manager duties at the professional level. The Human Resources Manager will provide advice, assistance, and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and able to work with all levels of management.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for human resources activities to include payroll, employee relations, and project management
Process payroll – (input time, verify, check, and run)
Facilitate and mediate relations between employees and management with regard to company policy
Maintaining employee files – with confidentiality
Orient employees on policies and procedures, as well as, implementing new procedures
Update and maintain employee handbook
Partner with employees and management to communicate various HR policies and procedures
Maintain HR records and documentation
Other related duties as assigned

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:
2+ years of HR Generalist experience, with ideally 1-2 years of HR Manager
Bachelor’s degree is required.
Experience with payroll using ADP (input time, verify, check, & run)
Proficient in all MS Office software
Knowledge with staying in compliance with state and federal regulations – filing all government reports, unemployment, I-9 etc.
Ability to research and analyze various types of data
Must have ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, and government regulations
Experience managing multiple projects concurrently, demonstrating a sense of urgency
Ability to learn new systems quickly and create improved efficiency
Excellent follow-up skills with the ability to follow-through to completion
Effective communication, writing and grammar skills, paying attention to detail
Must be flexible and adaptable to a fast-paced and fluid business environment
