Our Nashville, TN client is looking to hire a Leasing Agent on a temporary basis. Immediate Opening!
Summary:
Associate will be showing and leasing apartments and town homes to prospective residents, as well as supporting the Assistant Community Manger in daily operations.
Responsibilities:
Completes lease form or agreement
Collects rental deposit and application fees
Preparing model apartments for viewing
Maintaining a clean and orderly work space for proper curb appeal
Properly handling resident and property files
Solid knowledge of lease terms and property policies
Informed on all rental rates, sizes, locations and available amentities
Strong telephone sales skills
Maintaining the on-going resident retention program
Maintaining and updating community informational materials
Maintaining the Lease Renewal Program
Posting Craigslist ads
Timely email correspondence
Assist in organization and hosting of scheduled resident activities
Qualifications:
1-2 years of related leasing experience
Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Must have excellent math skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office software programs
Ability to write routine reports and document incidents
Effective communication skills with residents, vendors, and employees
Required to walk frequently and exposed to outdoor weather conditions
MUST maintain a professional appearance
MUST have an outgoing and personable demeanor
Dependable with good work ethic
