Our Houston, TX based client is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager for a direct hire opportunity: This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow and develop an expanding market.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership, guidance and support to account executives by actively training, mentoring, tracking activity and assisting through the entire sales cycle.
Generate written proposals through internal systems and prepare to present to prospects
Conduct the required number of first meetings and proposal meeting each week
Compile lists of prospects for use of sales leads
Establish pay cycle close and prepare supporting documentation for corporate office
Attend internal sales meetings and training
Work diligently to help organization retain all existing accounts
Qualifications:
Minimum three to five years sales experience in a managerial role
Experience developing a team of account executives
Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports and legal documents
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and boards of directors
Excellent communication skills (oral, written and interpersonal)
Very strong organizational skills
Advanced Excel
Ability to problem solve and deliver solutions to the client
Siebel a plus
