Our NW Houston, TX client is seeking a Bilingual Bookkeeper to join their team on a Direct Hire basis. This company boasts a great work environment with very long tenure on the team. The ideal candidate is a hard worker with strong computer skills, a solid bookkeeping background, and bilingual fluency in Spanish is a requirement.
Duties:
Manage forms and correspondence
Maintain books
Monthly Financial Statements
Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
Process A/P, A/R, and General Ledger
Handle billing
Input invoices into Excel and QuickBooks for vendors
Create new invoices
Bank deposits
Tax Forms and Reports
Job Cost analysis
Data entry and creation of spreadsheets and reports
Daily tasks as assigned by VP
Requirements:
2 years of QuickBooks experience, proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Bilingual in Spanish (Read, Write, and Speak)
Degree is preferred, but will consider someone with strong experience
Must be a dependable go-getter, very organized and willing to take on additional responsibilities
Must have an Assertive/Take charge attitude
Professional and positive attitude
Basic accounting principles knowledge
Associate’s degree or higher in related field of study, preferred
Experience in a small to medium sized business preferred
Construction or related industry experience in a plus
